Locomotive

All right, I admit I am a bit of a trainspotter and find old locomotives fascinating.  My favourite photograph of 2010 is this one taken at Ballarat.  I look forward to visiting this area again at Easter this year.

And a big happy birthday to Lachlan.

International Cricket Museum

The new International Cricket Museum opened recently and if you’re a cricket tragic like me you’ll need more than a couple of hours to escape into cricket heaven, here in Bowral.

E-books changing the way we read

Interesting that e-books as novels seems to be creating angst amongst booksellers.  So what about picture books?  Children’s books which are generally sat down and read to with colourful illustrations are continuing strongly so what happens with large coffee table books.  Would you look at them on your I-pad?  Will coffee table books be given as gifts – I think so!
